We celebrated Mother's day with Erik grilling out on Saturday night. Kate was "In Charge" of the dessert! She (with help from Daddy and Abbey) made me the most delicious ice cream sundae. Every color sprinkle you could imagine, chocolate syrup, crushed oreos and even whipped cream. She looked adorable in her zebra apron and loved being "In Charge!!" Abbey literally licked the bowl-too funny.
Sunday morning we visited Susu at her "Special Spot" This was Kate and Abbey's 1st time to visit. Kate made the comment, "It is very peaceful here!" We were leaving and Kate told Susu bye and then exclaimed, "You know Mom, even though Susu is in heaven she can hear me say Bye!" We really do miss her.
After a short nap, we loaded up the kids and headed to my sister's new house. Mimi and Pa met us there for a BDAY celebration. The birthday decorations looked great and my mom was so happy. We all loved celebrating the special bday girl and spending time together. Kevin fried us some amazing fish and shrimp. It's always gourmet at the Coston's.
