Katy rodeo!

We had such a fun slumber party at my sister's house on Friday night! Kate woke up Friday morning literally jumping for joy that we were heading to Katy to see her cousins!!! We made it to the Katy rodeo that night! The kids were dressed in official cowboy/cowgirl gear compliments of Mimi and Pa :) they were good sports to pose for pictures (the box of nerds was a good call, Courtney!) We saw huge pigs, goats, rabbits and got to watch real rodeo events. The kids even rode a kiddie "roller coaster" it was fun to see it through the kiddos eyes! Thanks Kevin and Courtney! We will be back soon.

We got a visit from our Arizona besties---Jodie, Harper and Harrison

January is coming to an end and I am ready for some beautiful Spring weather.  Here is a brief update on the girls.

Kate- Adores ballet and is beginning soccer soon :)  She would go to preschool everyday if it was allowed.  She is still my social butterfly and is learning to write all her letters.  She loves to learn new things and still asks a million questions!! 

Abbey- Loves singing all kinds of nursery rhymes and Jesus Loves Me.  She got 2 inches cut off her hair and the curls are still there :) She is much more confident this semester at school and tells us all about her friends in class.  She loves to lick only the icing out of Oreo cookies and gives the sweetest hugs and kisses. 

I am more than thankful for these 2 BIG blessings in our lives. 

Bye bye crib

Hello big girl bed :)

We no longer have a crib in the house (or garage!) it is official--- Abbey is in her big girl bed! She has been doing great but needs a lamp AND a night lite on! She says it is too SPOOKY in the dark- ha ha.

On Saturday night the girls stayed at my parents, and they slept in the same bed!! So perfect! My baby girl is growing up!
