Waiting for Pa to give them more candy!

Erik made a yummy gumbo dinner for us and my parents on the 23rd.  Courtney and Kev even got to come.  Noah and Kate sat at this table.  We were all toasting and we heard Noah say, "Let's cheers Kate!" Then they tapped their box drinks together.  It was hilarious :)

1st Christmas for these two angels

To say we enjoyed our holiday is an understatement!  We loved every second of our very busy weekend.  Thank you Mom, Dad, Susie and Don for spoiling us rotten :)  Kate throughly enjoyed opening every present and playing with all her new toys.  And we loved getting to spend it with all our sweet family.  These are just a few of the pictures we took.  I am still wating for a few to be emailed to me (hint hint mom and Courtney!!)

Roll Over!

This little chunky monkey rolled over!  I put her down on her tummy to nap and heard her screaming about 20 minutes later.  I ran back there and she had rolled over on her back and didn't know what to do!  She's getting to be such a big girl and we are loving every second with her.

Christmas program, big smiles & vacation!

Things are not slowing down for this family (except for this blog!!) Kate had her little Christmas program at school.  They got to sing Jingle Bells and shake the bells.  It was cute!  Those teachers must have the most patience :) Mimi, Susu, Karen and Daddy even joined in on the fun!

This is Kate's sidekick at school!  Kate is always telling me about the silly stuff they say and do!  Love it.

Kate and Noah got to go on a vacation to the river.  Mimi and Pa treated them to a weekend of FUN!  They even made a trip to Sea World.  Talk about lucky.  My mom was even able to take a few pics (which I will get from her later!) Thanks mom and dad.  You two are the greatest.  Kate has not stopped talking about the whales, dolphins and eating popcorn with Mimi.  Here is a picture when Mimi picked her up of Friday.

While Kate was away, we got to give this little doll all our attention.  And she LOVED every second of it.  We even got her to laugh.  Life is good :)

Here is a picture of Kate wearing the same outfit when she was 3 months old.

More posts to come in the next couple of days---hopefully :)

3 months old

Our sweet Abbey is now 3 months old!  She is too cute and we love her being such a special part of our family.  She has just started smiling ALOT!  I forgot just how heart warming those first smiles are.  She is also "talking" and drooling too.  She has been loving her crib and for that we are thankful!

She always perks right up when Kate is in the room.  Kate continues to be a sweet sissy!  Always saying,"Where's Abbey?" " I tippy toe past Abbey!" and "Hey Abbey-girl." Abbey just eats it up and so do we.

We had Tripp, Tucker, Traci and Susu over today.  We actually got some pretty good pics of the kiddos.

Abbey and her side kick cousin Tucker.  Already so sweet and holding hands. Abbey is about 10 weeks older.

The next generation of Schindewolfs!  Love how Tripp plays with the baby stroller. Shhh--don't tell Carl :)

Also, Abbey has been loving the activity mat and the bjorn.  We have just started facing her out and she cannot get enough of looking at everything.

I forgot to mention, Abbey is losing all her hair!  Can't wait to see what is looks like eventually!

Thanks for checking in on our growing girl :)

9 Hours

Abbey slept 9 straight hours last night.  9:30-6:30!!  She has officially slept through the night.  YAY :) Let's hope this new development continues.

Nice, rested and BRIGHT-EYED!
In other news, Kate got to explore all the Christmas lights on Schindewolf Lane last night with Coach, Susu and Daddy.  The lights look amazing as they do every year.  She got to wear her new rain coat and carry her new umbrella that Aunt Kiki got her. Thanks Sis!  Doesn't Kate look like such a big girl?

Hope you are getting 9 hours of sleep :)

pajama party!

Kate, Abbey, Noah and Gracie were decked out in their Christmas pajamas at the river.  The plan was to get a great picture to use for my parents Christmas card this year.  By great I mean, everyone looking at the camera, everyone with huge smiles and their eyes open.  Needless to say, the kiddos had a different plan.  Enjoy the madness :)

Poor Abbey!

Someone give this girl a snack!

Sweet Cousins

Getting the hang of this picture thing!
After all this EFFORT not a single shot was used!!  The next morning we went to Gruene and had the kiddos picture taken with Santa.  And that went according to the PLAN :)

Thanksgiving 2011

We are extra thankful this year because we have a new member of the Schindewolf Family, sweet Tucker Mason, our new nephew!  He is so cute and we are thrilled he is here.

We had a great Thanksgiving!  Kate has mastered the art of headphone wearing to keep her sanity in the car with her screaming sister :)

We celebrated with Erik's family on Wednesday night.  Karen and Joe even got in on the action.  It was fun, and a preview for how crazy Christmas will be with a 2 year old, an almost 2 year old, a 3 month old and a newborn.  Don is so excited :)  We put our kiddos in Christmas so Don and Susie could get a pic for their Christmas card.  Of course, I couldn't post that picture!

After a yummy dinner, we headed to the river.  We decided to go at night and pray both girls would sleep.  Well, Kate watched Diego, Dora, and Praise Baby until we pulled in the driveway at 11 PM and Abbey did okay.  I had to climb into the back for the last hour of the trip to keep her paci in!
1st Thanksgiving! (love that double chin!)
Love that enthusiasm Kate!

What a GREAT time we had on our little river vacation.  Courtney, Kevin and my mom made the yummiest feast.  Kate got to play with Noah and Gracie, go see Christmas lights, see Santa in Gruene, and eat ice cream at 9:30 in the morning!  Mimi and Pa had grandkid overload (if there is such thing!) And Erik and I even got a date night :)  Talk about THANKFUL!

Most of all we are thankul for these two precious blessings...

Even if we can't get a smile from them!

2 Months Old

This little love turne 2 months old tomorrow!  She is such a sweet baby girl and we are so happy she is part of our family.  (even Kate is happy!)

Here are a few things our little doll is up too!
-HATES the car.  I mean really HATES the car
-Has just started giving a few smiles.  Aunt Kiki got her to smile in the pic above
-Eats about every 3 hours
-weighs about 12 pounds
-wears size 1 diapie
-Has started sleeping in her crib some
-Did I mention she HATES the car!
Kate is so funny with her.  She will say, "Abbey girl what you dream about?" Erik told Kate Abbey dreams about milk, pacis and bottles.  So, that is what Kate says.  Kate also likes to say, "Just a sec Abbey!" I wonder where she got that- HA.  Abbey has just started loving looking at the fan, faces and balloons.

We are loving you to pieces Abbey! And we are always covering you with kisses.

Happy 2 months little baby!
