Thanksgiving 2011

We are extra thankful this year because we have a new member of the Schindewolf Family, sweet Tucker Mason, our new nephew!  He is so cute and we are thrilled he is here.

We had a great Thanksgiving!  Kate has mastered the art of headphone wearing to keep her sanity in the car with her screaming sister :)

We celebrated with Erik's family on Wednesday night.  Karen and Joe even got in on the action.  It was fun, and a preview for how crazy Christmas will be with a 2 year old, an almost 2 year old, a 3 month old and a newborn.  Don is so excited :)  We put our kiddos in Christmas so Don and Susie could get a pic for their Christmas card.  Of course, I couldn't post that picture!

After a yummy dinner, we headed to the river.  We decided to go at night and pray both girls would sleep.  Well, Kate watched Diego, Dora, and Praise Baby until we pulled in the driveway at 11 PM and Abbey did okay.  I had to climb into the back for the last hour of the trip to keep her paci in!
1st Thanksgiving! (love that double chin!)
Love that enthusiasm Kate!

What a GREAT time we had on our little river vacation.  Courtney, Kevin and my mom made the yummiest feast.  Kate got to play with Noah and Gracie, go see Christmas lights, see Santa in Gruene, and eat ice cream at 9:30 in the morning!  Mimi and Pa had grandkid overload (if there is such thing!) And Erik and I even got a date night :)  Talk about THANKFUL!

Most of all we are thankul for these two precious blessings...

Even if we can't get a smile from them!

2 Months Old

This little love turne 2 months old tomorrow!  She is such a sweet baby girl and we are so happy she is part of our family.  (even Kate is happy!)

Here are a few things our little doll is up too!
-HATES the car.  I mean really HATES the car
-Has just started giving a few smiles.  Aunt Kiki got her to smile in the pic above
-Eats about every 3 hours
-weighs about 12 pounds
-wears size 1 diapie
-Has started sleeping in her crib some
-Did I mention she HATES the car!
Kate is so funny with her.  She will say, "Abbey girl what you dream about?" Erik told Kate Abbey dreams about milk, pacis and bottles.  So, that is what Kate says.  Kate also likes to say, "Just a sec Abbey!" I wonder where she got that- HA.  Abbey has just started loving looking at the fan, faces and balloons.

We are loving you to pieces Abbey! And we are always covering you with kisses.

Happy 2 months little baby!

Halloween 2011

Halloween is so much fun with a toddler!  Kate really understood it all this year.  She loved looking at the "Ghostes, spider webs and lights" all around the neighborhood.  Kate even trick or treated with Daddy and Pa.  She would say trick or treat and knock on the door--so fun.  She also LOVED Yo Gabba Halloween episode and the song Monester Mash (especially when Adria sings it!)

It was also Abbey's 1st holiday to celebrate.  She got to spend the beginning part of the night with some one on one time with Mimi and Pa.  I think she loved all their attention.  We planned on dressing both girls in their Aggie Cheerleader outfits, but Kate had other plans.  Last year, one of our neighbors gave us this Wonder Woman Costume and Kate said she wanted to wear it.  Abbey just wore her little pumpkin outfit and was so sweet.  Here are a few pics from our fun night.

leave it to Mimi and Pa to do a photo session

We have a busy next couple of weeks.  Abbey turns 2 months old and Kate turns 2. Let the fun begin! :)
