Cheese :)

I have been wanting to get the girls pictures done since Abbey was born!  Well, my wish finally came true a couple weeks ago.  My sweet friend, Erin, passed along an email that one of her friends sent about taking pictures.  It turned out to be perfect!  Alli was super sweet to both my girls and the pictures are just what I wanted.  I would totally recommend her and it was a fantastic price!!  I am one happy momma :)

Our 4 Month Old

Our little baby is now 4 months old!  She has really started grabbing everything and taking in the world around her.  The car seems to be bearable now---praise the Lord!!  We are not sleeping a straight 9 hours anymore :(  Abbey wakes up between 12 and 1 then again between 4-5.  She  rolls over and can't flip back.  This scares her, she screams and momma rescues.  It is becoming a pattern.  Needless to say, I am loving my coffee these days. 

This is our cue that our little munchkin is sleepy.  She does not take a paci or suck her thumb.  It's her two fingers.  Susie says Erik did the same thing!! 

When Kate wakes up in the morning or from a nap she always wants to know where Abbey is.  If Abbey happens to be awake Kate likes to read her books in her bed.  It is so funny.  Lately, Kate has been insistent on reading the princess book and pointing out "handsome Prince Erik" to Abbey.  Kate usually tells her that is Daddy's name too.  This makes me so excited to see them really play together in a couple of months :)

Abbey also had her 1st taste of baby food last night.  We were at Mimi and Pa's house.  She got to taste carrots and I am pretty sure she LOVED them.  We stopped feeding her just for a second and she let out this demanding whine like saying GIVE ME MORE!!  Such a chunky monkey and I love it.  Speaking of chunky monkey, we had her 4 month appointment and she weighs 15 pounds and 25 1/2 inches! 

We love every inch of her!

Hello 2012

This year we will be a little sillier...

Enjoy our families even more and every second we get to spend with them...
