February Update

This picture about sums up how our February has been...

SICK!!  So far, this has been a month of "boogies," coughing, breathing treatments (for Abbey), doctor visits, and GERMS!

I know I have said how incredibly lucky we are to live so close to our parents. But, this month takes it to another level of lucky :)  They have been so helpful, beyond helpful, so thanks :)

There have been a few highlites---

Sweet Abbey turned 5 months old!  She is really grabbing everything and loves to get Kate!!  I can already see the sisterly bond taking shape and it makes my heart so happy!!

Now feeling slightly better, Kate is back to her witty self!  The other day we were loading up the car for another Dr. visit and Kate said, "The garage is sticky Mimi, I'm just warning you!" She also popped this off, "Mommy I need a snack and I am serious!"

So, this may not have started out as a carefree month of hearts, but my heart could not be fuller of love for my sweet girls!!  Even if it is covered in "boogies" :)

Road Trip

 Last weekend we headed to the river.  We had such a fun time.  On Friday we took Kate to the San Antonio zoo.  She is really into animals (and popcorn) and had the best time with MImi.  It was a beautiful sunny day and we couldn't have picked a better adventure!  She says her favorite animal was the zebra.  Pa was so sweet to stay at the house with Abbey.  Saturday I got to spend shopping with my momma and lunch in Gruene.  It was such a treat!  Kate, Abbey, Pa and Erik had some fun jumping in the moonwalk and throwing pecans in the river.  Saturday night we even got a date night!  Thanks mom and dad for spoiling us rotten and loving on our precious girls :)  We definitely felt relaxed and recharged on Sunday.

Speaking of Sunday, we stopped by my sister's house on the way home.  I wish we could do that more often.  All 4 of us had the best time.  Gracie was trying to get Abbey and Noah and Kate played in his awesome new playroom and outside.  Those two are too funny together!!  They are all 2 and then the next second so sweet and loving towards each other.  We used Courtney's camera and tried to capture the FUN!

It seems as if this little old blog is getting neglected.  I have been busy with LIFE.  Our two little rugrats and did I mention laundry??!!  I will try and do better, but no promises :)
