This and that

These two little girls have been keeping us busy!

We celebrated Tripp almost being 3! Don is having knee replacement and won't be able to celebrate on Tripp's real BDAY, so we got to celebrate Tripp this past Sunday. Traci had us over for a yummy dinner and lots of laughs! Abbey and Kate had a ball over there.
Kate has been doing swim lessons for the past month. This is her first time to ever take lessons. She has really progressed over the past month. She cried the 1st time, because it was over and she didn't want to leave-Ha!! Love my brave girl.

Abbey is almost 18 months old-18!! She says her name Abba and is such a funny girl. She is really trying to repeat what we say and is so fun loving. She is Kate's shadow and must do whatever Sissy does!

Both girls love their friends so much.  Kate has made some great ones at school and she gets to see them at church each Sunday.  They especially love all their neighborhood friends.  We are surrounded by some great neighbors and many loving friends.

Speaking of friends, the girls have been getting along really well lately. Kate is fairly patient with Abbey.  And like I mentioned before, Abbey ADORES her Sissy.  Here are a few pics of my silly and sweet girls.
After Abbey wakes up from her nap Kate loves to play in her crib.  They ask me to put all the animals and they throw them out over and over again while cracking up.

Loves her Bun Bun which she now calls Mae Mae and still a finger sucker for bed time.

Love the Valentine's jammies Mimi and Pa!  Thank you.

Kate loves all her baby dolls these days.  They sleep with her and she changes their clothes.

Can you say HAIR cut?  This was on a February afternoon before a bang trim.

Excited to head into March.

Baseball kind of Saturday

On Saturday we headed out to the KO baseball field for an alumni afternoon. Carl, Tripp and Don were there too. It was a beautiful day (shorts weather for those of you reading in Michigan) Erik and Carl didn't play in the game, but a good time was had by all. Kate and Abbey loved being outside and Erik loved showing them off :) After the game, I mentioned to Erik what a great time Susie would have had this afternoon. She was always up for baseball and a good time! Oh, how we miss her! Don came over for dinner that night and even had some vanilla ice cream with the girls. It was a really good Saturday!
