Michigan Relatives

We have had a chance to spend some quality time with a few of our Michigan relatives this past month. Over July 4th my cousin, Kurt, spent a week at the river house. He hadn't been to TX in forever, and enjoyed himself in the TX hill country!

 This week we have had a blast with my sweet cousin, Erica, and her family. Kate has had a ball with the "big girls" Kelsey and Mara. Even Abbey has been in on the excitement and eating up all the attention from Erica and Don. We made a trip to the children's museum, went to Gruene and enjoyed some great conversation over some TX beer.

There is nothing like getting to spend time with family you never get to see!

We spent time with sweet Susie.

We danced a little more.

We splashed and played a little longer.

We laughed and appreciated the silly moments.

 And thanked God for the gift of family.

Trippey!

Abbey is 10 months

10 months?? I know you can't believe it---we can't either. She is such a joy!! So sweet and on the GO! Crawling fast and starting to pull up on everything. We will try and give her baby food and she will shake her head NO! It is too funny. She is a great eater and loves real food. I even caught Kate giving her a bite of cinnamon role the other day. My girls have always been such good eaters. Lately, Kate has had a sharing problem! Now that Abbey is on the go, all toys are free reign. We are working on our manners. Speaking of toys, Abbey loves the monster truck. It plays music and goes and is super loud! She is dancing and waving hi and bye. We love our sweet 10 month old.
