Cousin BDAYS in March

Gracie turned the big TWO.  She even got a visit from Elmo-which almost gave the bday girl and Abbey a heart attack!!  We headed to Katy for the celebration.  Kate and Abbey loved spending the afternoon with their cousins.  I liked being able to celebrate my sweet, smart, beautiful niece- Gracie Renee :) I cannot believe she is TWO.  She is such a mini Courtney and it cracks me up.

Gracie was NOT amused by her Daddy dressing up as Elmo.  She was shaking and beyond scared.  Abbey literally feel out of a chair.  This was definitely a party foul.

Tripp also had a birthday this month.  This little dude is 3!  He is so handsome, fun-loving, energetic and we love him so,  His party was at Chuck E Cheeses and it was a blast.  This was our 2nd time to go and the girls had so much fun.  We played and celebrated the night away.

We are very fortunate to live close to our cousins,  Growing up, mine always lived far away :( I'm glad we got to celebrate them in such fun ways :)

Fancy Taco Dinner

Yesterday when Erik got home he was greeted by his two favorite princesses.  Kate and Abbey were dressed up for a "Fancy Taco" dinner.  We had the candles lite and our princess tea cups at each place setting.  Kate even picked out a tie and a shirt with the sleeves cut off for her Daddy to wear.  (It was a costume at one time-If you know Erik you know he does not typically like to show off his guns!)  He was so sweet and put it on right away.  I even wore a princess crown the entire meal.  We had such a great dinner and finishing off with a bunny cake my little bakers helped with earlier in the day.

Oh the joy of having tacos by (Christmas) candle light while drinking out of princess tea cups.  I will never look at taco night as boring again!!

Out of town friends

 We spent Monday and Tuesday of Spring break having play dates with some special out of town friends.  Our week started by having Harper and Jodie over to play.  They live in Arizona and we try to get the girls together when they are in town visiting her parents.  Harper is almost 1 month older than Abbey and she is cute as can be.  She is going to have a little brother this summer and we can't wait to meet him.  Heather also stopped by for a visit.  We are happy she is moving into the neighborhood- even if I was the last one to know about it :)

Tuesday night we had some wonderful friends over with their little Parker.  Katy and Clay live in Rotan, TX and were here for the whole week.  Parker fit right in with the craziness of our house.  The Bennett's also came by for some dinner and visiting.  It was pure chaos but the best kind.

We spent the rest of Spring Break at my parents river house and loved every second of it!

Mr. Potato Head & A Goose Egg

Kate is loving all things art these days! All of a sudden she can color in the lines! She is so proud :) the other night she drew this. A perfect (in our eyes) Mr. Potato head!

Poor Abbey had a terrible collision with the bathroom door frame on Thursday night. This picture was seriously taken 5 minutes after it happened. She was super excited to get in the bath and tripped on her way into the bathroom. Ouch! She is a tough one. We even put an ice pack on it for a little while. Although still bruised, it is looking much better! Poor Babber Boo.
