Enjoying the weather

We have had some gorgeous weather the past few days! This means lots of outdoor fun. Both Kate & Abbey love bubbles, chalk and swinging. Here are a few phone pics of our week. We've had a good one (except for a busted chin and lip for Kate!) good thing her flower girl duties aren't until mid October!!

Also, I forgot to blog about Kate's 1st day of preschool! She loves it and has the funniest things to say about her class! I can only imagine what she tells her teacher about us! Ha! Here is a picture with her bestie Addison on their first day.

ONE more party!

 We really put a new meaning for the term "Birthday Week!" celebrating Abbey being ONE :) We had a fun family party at my parents house this past Saturday.  It was Sesame Street themed and a swim party!  A million thanks to Mimi & Pa for all your hard work for your littlest grandbaby and her momma!

What an amazing birthday week for this little angel. 

Splash Pad & Donuts

We had a little party for Abbey at a neighborhood splash pad.  We decided to do it in the morning with donuts for the kids!  It turned out great.  The weather was perfect (no mosquitoes) and Erik even took off work.  He sure does love his little princess :)  I think Abbey had the most fun and inhaled her donut holes. 

After we got dried off we headed over to the park to play some more!

 Our big ONE year old was worn out!  Since Daddy was home, he volunteered, (no I MADE him) take Abbey girl to the doctor for her 1 year check up and 5 shots :( Have no fear, Erik slipped her 2 donut holes after her shots and she was fine :)  She weighed 22 pounds 10 ounces and is 29 1/2 inches.  We ended the night with a dinner date with just the 4 of us.  Such a great day celebrating our little love with such sweet friends and donut holes, of course!

Abbey is ONE!  We are so lucky to have loved on this sweet girl for the whole year :)  We started celebrating last night at the Schindewolf house.  Turns out, Aunt Traci and Abbey have a birthday a day apart. So, we celebrated them both on Sunday night.

Happy bday girls

This morning Abbey got a few extra kisses from her sissy.  Mimi came over and we took Abbey to the mall to ride the merry go round and to get this girl some shoes!  We hit up the stride rite for some extra wides.  Abbey has some "fluffy feet"according to the sales lady :)  We baked a cake, made chicken spaghetti and decorated while Kate was at school.  I loved every second of this day.
