Still Thankful

 Here it is already December and I have failed to post about our Thanksgiving week. So, it is December and we are still so thankful. Thankful for our loving families and our thoughtful friends.  Thankful for each and every day we get to enjoy them :)

 First feast- Don & Susie's house. (And it happened to be Tucker's actual 1st birthday. The pic is from his fun Mickey Mouse bday a few weeks earlier!)  We had a delicious feast and our Schindewolf boys even did some of the cooking. Erik made the broccoli rice cheese & cranberry sauce.  Carl made us a delicious turkey.  And Don, well he enjoyed it all (especially the cherry pie!) Traci and I were in charge of the sides. The only thing missing was sweet Susie.  Oh how we miss her.  It was nice getting together for our first feast.

 Friend Time- Monday night one of my oldest and dearest friends came by with her 2 precious boys.  My dad even coached her in soccer while we were growing up.  Thank you Sarah for coming over to play :) My girls had a great time with your little loves.  We will try and have a few trucks next time :)

We headed up to the river on Tuesday afternoon.  Both girls actually slept in the car.  I know you could care less about this, but we could not believe it! We were beyond excited to spend a few days relaxing and out of town.

Wednesday we headed to a fun park in New Braunfels. They got to ride a train around the park and play on a super fun playground.  Both Kate and Abbey got to pull the whistle on the train. Mimi and Pa always have the best ideas.

 Second feast- river house. Mom made a yummy meal for us on Thanksgiving day. We ate early then headed to Sea World--crazy I know. Sea world had all the beautiful Christmas lights up and it was FUN. 

Abbey adored the Sesame Street show :) it was by far her favorite part!

Kate was fascinated by Shamu (so were we!) and scared to death of Cookie Monster. So scared, Erik had to take her out of the Sesame Street show before it even started.

Thank you Mimi and Pa for treating us to a Thanksgiving with both Turkey and Shamu :)

We are thankful- very thankful.
