30!!!!!!!!

We have had an exciting October!  Abbey is 4 weeks old and we are now 30!  Yes, both Erik and I recently celebrated the big 3-0!!

Abbey update
-has her 1st cold :(
- took her to the Dr. on Thursday and she is 21 3/4 inches and 8 pounds 10 ounces.
-some of her newborn gowns are getting too small :(
- can still wear newborn diapers
-her cord is now off and she is tolerating her baths a bit better. Erik is in charge of giving her baths!
-still has blue eyes- I think Kate's were gray at this time
-much more awake and vocal
-went to Susu's house for 1st time and Aunt Traci's house

Almost 2

Kate update
-Kate held her (kind of) for the 1st time
-Kate has really been great (THANK THE LORD) I forgot how time consuming newborns are!
-the other day Kate woke up saying Jesus loves Abbey
-is way into singing
-itsy bitsy spider, Jesus loves the little children and rain rain go away are her current favorites (thanks to school she even does some motions)
-loves bandaids
-almost 23 months old---yikes!!

Being 30 update
-went to a fabulous dinner at Pappas Steakhouse with Courtney and Kevin (the best dinner and the best company!)
-Kate was singing Happy Birthday Mommy throughout the day.
-Erik finally got him a pair of boots, and he is obsessed with them (so is someone else!)

-Thanks to all my fam and friends who made our bdays so special.

I know 30 is going to be a great year with my hubby and my 2 precious girls.  What more could this momma want?
